Eden Green Technology begins constructing a new Texas greenhouse and plans a $12 million strategic expansion.

Next to its research and development greenhouse in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, Eden Green Technology has started construction on a new greenhouse that will be used for vertical farming. As part of the development contract, Eden Green Technology will get an investment of twelve million dollars from its current financial partners. A new plant that spans 1.5 acres and is located in an opportunity zone near Cleburne, Texas, will have an annual production capacity of roughly 500 tons of leafy greens.

It is anticipated that Eden Green Technology’s new greenhouse in Cleburne, Texas, will demonstrate the economic, environmental, and resource-use potential of smart vertical greenhouses as soon as it begins to generate a profit. The greenhouse is also expected to maintain 30 essential jobs throughout the year. The company intends to form partnerships with other businesses and organizations, not just in Texas but also in other states, countries, and even continents.

These greenhouses, which feature patented technology for vertical farming, are available to retailers and food distributors, entrepreneur-led investor groups, nation-states and municipalities, and philanthropic ventures and foundations. Retailers and food distributors can also grow their produce in these greenhouses. There will be more than 20 greenhouses located all over the world by the end of 2024.
